MARKETING
The League provides a way for credit unions to develop an understanding of member needs and attitudes through carefully designed member surveys and other market research vehicles. Credit unions can explore member attitudes toward service, convenience, technology, pricing, product satisfaction, and many other important areas of concern.
Surveys are crafted to meet the individual information needs of each credit union. The data are collected and analyzed and an extensive report with interpretation and recommendations is produced. On-site presentations are also a part of this service.
Marketing plans are also available. These projects include budgets, promotional schedules, strategic and tactical planning as well as explicit goals and objectives.
To learn more about these services, please e-mail Rob Kimmett, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations at rkimmett@cucenter.org or call him at 1-800-842-1242.
TECHNOLOGY
Promotes and Protects
The Credit Union industry has gone from pencil and pen to calculator to computer in the blink of an eye. The successful use of technology has created unprecedented opportunities for growth and success, as serving your members is no longer limited to on-site customer service. The Internet and ATM technology puts your credit union in every community and in every home.
Management of these new resources, however, has also required enormous investment in infrastructure and new forms of security.
While creating new opportunities for success, technology also creates new opportunities for fraud and loss. Protecting against robbery was a matter of investment in traditional security devices such as video cameras, alarms and risk management staff training. Robbery and mismanagement were the menaces of the past. Hacking is the new risk. Credit unions must be vigilant, make the necessary decisions, and investments to protect their operations.
With assistance from our technical staff and business partners, the League can help you take advantage of the latest technologies while helping to ensure that your operations remain safe. Whether changing your ISP or phone service, optimizing local area networks, or safeguarding your operation through firewalls, intrusion detection systems and employee monitoring software, the League is your on-call consultant and supporter.
Our staff can assist in the development of technology policies. The adoption of best management practices help reduce costs and curtail fraud. You save money and worry.
Every member credit union can have access to the same level of information and technology services. You are limited only by your own level of commitment to technology.
Chosen carefully, implemented properly, and supported throughout your organization, technology can help you to better serve your members, increase employee efficiency, and safeguard your operation. Technology: promoting and protecting your business.
