President/CEO

Vice President Operations

Training and Development Officer
St. Mary’s Bank Credit Union (SMB) is looking to fill a full-time position to be responsible for planning, developing, organizing and executing training strategies and programs for SMB. The Training and Development Officer in the HR Department is also directly responsible for developing, conducting and coordinating identified training as well as consulting with business area managers, project teams, subject matter experts and employees to determine the best approach to deliver effective training. Responsibilities also include being the application owner for SMB's online learning management system.
Requirements for the position: Bachelor’s Degree in education, instructional design or related field. Master’s degree and/or CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning & Performance) certification preferred. Ten or more years of experience in training to include developing and executing organizational training strategies – financial institution experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success with Internet-based learning systems, application of adult learning principles, and project management skills are a must. Mortgage Underwriter

Reporting to the Mortgage Pipeline Manager, the underwriter is responsible for rendering credit decisions on incoming applications consistent with credit union and Fannie Mae guidelines. Underwrite mortgage commitment letters and verify supporting documentation as submitted. Work with loan officers, loan processors and team members to meet investor deadlines.
Responsibilities include: Represent the credit union in a professional manner; provide quality service to members and internal customers. Analyze employment profile, credit strength, property characteristics, and all other information pertinent to the credit decision process on each mortgage application. Be adept with Fannie Mae Desktop (DU) underwriting system, FICS, and EXP operating systems. Be proficient in underwriting the self-employed borrower and completing a cash flow analysis form Evaluate and verify the accuracy of the loan product and pricing for each loan. Identify all possible counter offer situations to ensure the applicant's options are fully determined and that fair lending was applied on all cases. Condition loans for approval. Approve ,deny, and counteroffers mortgage applications within authority limits. Utilize the daily mortgage loan production reports. Report all problems or adverse situations to the Pipeline Manager as they arise and handle accordingly as instructed. Maintains knowledge of compliance laws applicable to mortgage originations including Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Regulation Z ( Truth-in-Lending), Regulation C (HMDA), Fair Credit Reporting Act and other state and federal laws which may be applicable.
Requirements include: 2 years underwriting experience. Associates degree or equivalent in specialized lending training. Must have strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills. Knowledge in Fannie Mae's policy on processing, underwriting and servicing mortgages. Knowledge of real estate lending regulatory compliance. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the secondary market industry. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HMDA reporting. Mortgage computer skills.
Collector
Woodlands Credit Union is seeking an experienced collector.
Position is responsible for collections on delinquent loan accounts. Candidate must be personable, professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Senior Collections Representative
